Multiple Sclerosis

Dr. Mandler is nationally and internationally recognized for his studies and knowledge of multiple sclerosis (MS) and variants of central nervous system neuroinflammatory disease such as neuromyelitis optica (NMO). He specialized in MS at the Cleveland Clinic and at the NIH and was the initial MS Center director at the George Washington University. He participated as co-investigator in the initial major clinical trials of disease modulating therapies and is versed in the use of new oral and IV medications for MS. He has authored and co-authored seminal papers on MS and has collaborated with colleagues of major universities in the U.S. and abroad.
